Use the films to ask better questions

The clips below show specific production actions, rather than every stage of a single order. Use them alongside a written specification, an approved physical sample and project-specific inspection records. For a wider explanation of cut-and-sew stages, see how T-shirts are manufactured.

For service responsibilities, approvals and the route from enquiry to shipment, review our OEM and ODM process. For decoration and finishing options beyond these process clips, see NOVITA craftsmanship and finishing.

Footage scope: These clips were supplied for this page; source and facility attribution remain unverified. Their filming dates, individual facility locations and ownership are not established by the files. They illustrate the visible operations and do not establish that each operation is performed in-house or that a particular batch passed inspection.
Explore the production process

Four films. Specific evidence.

From cutting a fabric lay to stitching a zipper: watch one operation at a time, then check the corresponding sample or production requirement.

Straight-knife cutter and paper pattern on layered fabric
NV-FACTORY-018 · Portrait · Silent

Pattern-guided fabric cutting

What is shown: An operator guides a straight-knife cutter through layered fabric beneath a paper pattern.

Buyer context: Cut components carry the shape into sewing. A cutting video helps you discuss the method; it cannot establish measurement accuracy or fabric approval.

Verify before production: Confirm the pattern revision, size set, fabric direction, shrinkage allowance and shade-lot separation.

Hands positioning a dark fabric panel beneath a sewing template
NV-FACTORY-003 · Portrait · Silent

Template-guided sewing

What is shown: Hands position a dark fabric panel beneath a sewing template and guide the repeated operation.

Buyer context: Templates help position components. The visible operation does not identify the finished garment or demonstrate the quality of a whole production batch.

Verify before production: Agree component placement, seam construction and acceptable appearance on the approved sample.

Hands guiding a zipper edge through an industrial sewing machine

Zipper-edge sewing

What is shown: An operator aligns a zipper edge and stitches it on an industrial sewing machine.

Buyer context: This close-up makes alignment and handling visible. It does not prove zipper strength, durability or inspection compliance.

Verify before production: Check zipper specification, stitch line, fabric clearance and smooth opening on your actual sample.

Folded garment moving through enclosed conveyor equipment
NV-FACTORY-006 · Landscape · Silent

Folded garment handling

What is shown: A folded garment moves through enclosed handling equipment on a conveyor.

Buyer context: The clip shows one handling step. It does not show a complete packing cycle, carton inspection or shipment release.

Verify before production: Request your folding reference, label placement, bag specification and carton assortment for approval.

Short excerpts are muted and compressed for the web. Portrait clips retain their proportions. Machinery brands visible in the footage identify equipment only.

Quality control & sample approval

Approve the reference. Then check the order.

A sewing close-up cannot replace a quality report. Agree these checkpoints with your supplier before production, including who records results and who authorizes release. The sequence below is a buyer approval framework; these four films do not document every checkpoint.

01

Sample approval

Record sample version, fit, measurements, tolerances and unresolved comments.

02

Material confirmation

Confirm fabric reference, colour or shade band, trims, artwork and label versions.

03

Production checks

Request dated measurement and workmanship records tied to your style and batch.

04

Final inspection

Agree the sampling plan, defect criteria, packing checks and release decision.

Manufacturing FAQ

Before you start a project.

Can buyers visit the NOVITA factory?

Contact NOVITA to request a visit or a project-specific video walkthrough. Confirm the facility address, relevant production stages, available dates and confidentiality requirements with our team before arranging travel. You can also review our manufacturing FAQs before contacting us.

What is NOVITA’s custom clothing MOQ?

Custom production usually starts at 100 pieces per style and colour. Special fabrics, trims or processes may increase the minimum. Selected stock styles start at 50 pieces, subject to availability. Review our MOQ guide and request a style-specific quotation.

Can NOVITA develop samples from reference garments?

Yes. Share the reference garment or clear images, then identify which details to retain or change. Measurements, fabric, construction, artwork and branding need written confirmation before development. See the sample development process.

How long do sampling and bulk production take?

Sample development typically takes about 7–14 days after specifications and materials are confirmed. Bulk production is usually around 60 days, subject to sample approval, material readiness, quantity and agreed order conditions. Confirm both schedules in your quotation.

What should buyers approve before bulk production?

Approve the sample version, measurement chart and tolerances, fabric and colour references, trims, artwork, labels and packing specification. Record any exceptions, responsible approver and date. Keep the approved reference available for production checks. Use our tech pack preparation checklist to organize the versioned requirements.

What quality-control evidence can buyers request?

Request records tied to your order: dated measurement sheets, workmanship photos, material or shade approvals, in-process findings and the agreed final inspection report. For outsourced operations, ask which facility performs the work. These videos alone do not demonstrate inspection compliance. See the apparel quality-control checklist for the corresponding buyer acceptance questions.

How can buyers obtain an OEM or ODM quotation?

Send the product category, reference images or tech pack, quantity per style and colour, fabric and branding requirements, delivery destination and target timeline through our contact page. Tell us which specifications are confirmed and which need development support. Our clothing manufacturing RFQ checklist helps structure that request.
