1. Send Us Your Design or Reference Picture
To start a new project, customers can provide information such as:

2. Fabric, GSM and Color Confirmation
Fabric selection is an important part of private label production.
Before developing a product, details such as the fabric type, composition, hand feel and GSM (grams per square meter) should be discussed.
GSM matters because two fabrics may look similar in a photograph but feel completely different when made into a garment. This is particularly noticeable with products such as T-shirts and polo shirts.

A PP sample is different from an early development sample. It should represent the standard agreed for bulk production as closely as possible.

Garments are sewn products, so expecting every piece to measure mathematically identical is unrealistic. Instead, key measurement points are checked against the approved specifications and agreed tolerance.
6. Pre-Production Meeting
Before bulk production starts, a pre-production meeting helps transfer the customer’s requirements from the development stage to the production team.
Important details are reviewed again, including the approved PP sample, fabric, color, measurements, workmanship, labels, logo, trims and packaging.

The salesperson, sample room and production team all need to understand the same standard before cutting and sewing begin.
7. How Is the Bulk Production Timeline Divided?
A realistic production lead time is not simply “30 days of sewing.”
Depending on the product, a bulk order normally passes through several stages:
Fabric & Trim Preparation → Cutting → Sewing → Printing/Embroidery or Other Processes → Finishing → Inspection → Packing → Shipment
For jackets, the production process can be more complicated than for a basic T-shirt or polo because there may be more fabric components, linings, zippers, buttons and other trims.
The actual lead time therefore depends on the style, quantity, fabric availability and customization requirements.
